Consultation Fees
Residential design services are typically charged on an hourly rate. All project services require payment for initial consultation at time service is rendered.
A variety of fee structures, based on factors such as complexity of the project, time requirements, and geographical location, will be used in combination to suit a client's particular needs:
- Fixed fee (or flat fee) -- The designer identifies a specific sum to cover costs, exclusive of reimbursement for expenses. One total fee applies to the complete range of services, from conceptual development through layouts, specifications and final installation.
- Hourly fee -- Compensation is based on actual time expended by the designer on a project or specific service.
- Percentage fee -- Compensation is computed as a percentage of construction/project costs.
The fees for services performed by Camille & Company Interiors is, as follows:
$50.00 hour for services performed on site with the project and client consultations. There is a minimum one hour charge.
$35.00 hour plus mileage for services performed researching/shopping for products/furnishings, subcontractors, etc. Documentation will be provided. There is minimum one hour charge.
$150.00 flat fee for client decorating plan and board on design services. Fee is paid at time of initial consultation. Available upon request.
$75.00 flat fee for written client organization plan.
For large scale projects, in addition to the fee structures outlined above, a retainer will be required at the time of the initial consultation. A retainer is an amount of money paid by the client to the designer and applied to the balance due at the termination of the project. The retainer is customarily paid in advance of design services.
Home Staging
$100.00 flat fee for initial assessment.
$50.00hour plus mileage for shopping for products/furnishings/accessories and/or staging.
Plus additional furniture/accessories rental, if required.
A written assessment will be provided. Payment is due in full at time of assessment.
Personal Shopping/Product Selection
$35.00 hour plus mileage and cost of purchases. There is a minimum one-hour charge.

CONSULTATION PACKAGES
$300 for a one-time, two hour residential in-home design consultation in the city. Other locations will be quoted based on location. This is an in-depth, focused consultation covering the scope of a project from beginning to end. Client will complete a design questionnaire prior to the meeting to aide in the process. Recommendations will be made at the time of consultation and some follow up plans may be offered at no additional expense.
$500 for a one-time, two hour residential design consultation in the city including a design board and plan. Other locations will be quoted based on location. This package is designed for the client who needs assistance with a plan but desires to do the work themselves. An initial in-home consultation will be provided with a follow-up meeting to deliver design board and plan. Board and plan will be mailed to off-island locations. Client will complete a design questionnaire prior to the meeting to aide in the process.
EMAIL DO-IT-YOURSELF ORGANIZATION PACKAGE
Receive a customized plan for tips on organizing your space and suggestions on products and space arrangements sent to you by email. Do-It-Yourself kits require all measurements of the space and all current furnishings in the room along with digital photos of the area. Email plans require two to three weeks for processing time. Email me and I will send you a package for you to complete and return. Fees are $125 per room/project.
